April is shaping up to be egg-straordinary, and we’ve got a hoppin’ good lineup of events! The best part? Every event (except the Easter Egg Hunt, of course - that's for the kiddos!) helps fund the Veterans Memorial at Tribble Park!
Run with the Cops 5K – April 6th
Think you can outrun the law? Here’s your chance! The Police Foundation of Hallsville invites you to lace up and hit the pavement for a great cause. You can still register on race day!
Where: Hallsville Intermediate School
Registration: 7:00 a.m.
Race Start: 8:00 a.m. (Rain or shine!)
Cost: $35 for adults | $10 for kids 12 & under
Watch out for runners and walkers along Ricketts Road! Route map attached.
Hoppin’ Johns Fundraiser – April 7th-18th
They’re back and hopping this time! The infamous fundraising toilets are on the loose again! If one lands in your yard, here’s how to handle the situation:
$20 – Have it removed
$25 – Have it removed & sent to a “lucky” friend’s yard
$35 – Have it removed, sent elsewhere, and protect yourself from getting it back for the rest of the year!
Who will be the next flush-tunate recipient? It’s all in good fun and supports the Veterans Memorial at Tribble Park!
Snaps with the Bunny – April 10th
Hop on over for Snaps with the Bunny! This event is guaranteed to be adorable—bring your kids, pets, or just yourself and grab a festive photo with the Easter Bunny!
Where: Hallsville City Hall
When: Thursday, April 10th
Time: 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Cost: $5 per photo

This one’s just for the kiddos! The Grow Hallsville Parks Foundation’s Easter Egg Hunt is back and better than ever!
Where: Tribble Park
When: Friday, April 12th
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Get ready to scramble for eggs and hunt down the Golden Ticket—one lucky winner in each age group will score a special prize! Age groups 0 - 1; 1 - 2; 3 - 4; 5 - 6; 7 - 8; 9 -12
